Seasickness Cures

Can anyone suggest a cure for seasickness?

2. "I agree with the Sea Legs Tablets. I don't get sea sick but is it the tablets or not? And as I am a wimp I do not plan to take the test!!

The most important thing is though DON'T HAVE BEER, DON'T HAVE A FULL BREAKFAST AND DON'T WATCH THE LAND BOB UP AND DOWN. Also, don't kneel or lean over and try to clear your ears as it is all to do with pressure, so I am told."

3. "Sea Bands work well, I'm not sure if its a state of mind or if it really really works! You can make your own up - all you need to do is tape a bead (like the coloured ones in your tackle box)with elasticated sticking plaster AROUND your wrist. The bead needs to be on the inside of the wrist, the point is three fingers width down from the big crease that goes across your wrist where your hand joins on to the end of your arm. It just needs enough pressure to push into the flesh.

Or you can pay between four and seven quid and get a pretty little blue number in a dinky plastic box.

My advice is, whatever you do, keep at it because after a few trips you will become used to the motion and despite what you read on other threads, boat fishing is the GREATEST!"
