Rod Tips At Night

How are you able to watch the rod tip during your night shorefishing sessions?

1. I just tape a chemical light to the upper part part of the rod (opposite side from rings). It's visible from where you sit, or you could attach one to a bell for that two way alarm.

2. No, no, no! Don't waste your money and use anything that can snag a cast - Go to Halfords and get some of that white tape with silver specks in it and wrap around your rod tip - Shows up great with a headlight - Trust me, you wont look back.
