Also known as Water Crowfoot - and actually a member of the buttercup family. A river weed found in long wavering beds in clear, fast flowing gravel bottomed rivers. Topped with erect white and yellow flowers. Species like barbel and chub adore the cover provided and are often found in the clear runs between weedbeds.
